Idea: mob app Soundville

Here's an idea for mobile app that can be called “Soundville”.

When you look at any object through the screen of a smart phone, these objects would start producing unique music. Each object is assigned an individual music note, i.e. a tree plays # Do, a house # C, a person # Sol Major or Minor), etc.
If you are looking at a picture that contains say 15 objects, they together will produce a self-harmonizing tune consisting of 15 individual sounds.
On the other hand if you point the camera on a single object, you will hear only one tune. Also, for instance, when you point at a tree and then quickly sweep across to a pond with a duck, you’ll hear the tree, the pond with a duck and everything else that was captured in between.

Idea: VoxBox for social media

How it works:

We let people record a sound with their mouth (just like beatboxing) via their webcams and store it on a special website... it could be a musical note (do,re,me,fa,so,la,si,do), imitation of a music instrument, a drone, whistle, unusual sound, etc.)... and then build an app that can put these sounds in certain musical style templates (dubstep, drum'n'base, hip hop, etc)... so it will be like social beatbox...
Since the sounds come with the visuals the program will also create a video rmx with actual faces making the sound... this will make a perfect viral video for youtube: facebook voxbox competition with different FaceBook friends circles competing for the best vox mix.

Here’s an example of music keyboard interface:

With all the usual sound machine special effects and controls.

Beatboxing is an increasingly popular style of making tunes with a mouth. Here’s a reference link to the current beatboxing champion Birdyman from UK (my favourite)

Idea: Write the future.

A small widget app that FBook users can install. It appears on the screen every few days, displays some random headline and asks if it’s likely to happen in the nearest future or not.

Second option offers to write your own headline and set the time when it’s likely to happen.

Bild-future-headlines.de would display statistical data of people votes as well as the entire archive with user generated headlines.

Users also have an option to vote for the most popular future headline.

Bild Newspaper would offer a reward, for example a bit of cash, to anyone who correctly predicts the future or picks the right headline.

Headlines can also be posted via Twitter.

Idea: Ask.com iPhone app

Ask.com develops mobile app that allows users to ask questions speaking directly into microphone and receive vocal answers (from Jeeves).

The app would convert audio questions into text, send the query online, the best text results would be converted back to voice spoken by animated Jeeves figure.

The convenience of this idea was inspired when I was lying on a beach trying to find Osiris constellation in the night sky. Sometimes it's easier to use your voice rather than typing- reading when looking for answers.

The search engine would scan wiki, blogs and other online portals to find the best possible answer. After answering the question Jeeves would ask if the user is happy with the first answer. If not, Jeeves gives another one.

Jeeves is multilingual and is capable to learn the user's habits.
The app can also function as a mobile browser.

TV ad shows curious kids and lazy dad. He gives them his phone with Jeeves who now plays substitute dad. Other examples may include digital Jeeves playing a scientist, teacher or even a politician.

Promo: competition between 2 teams both using the app - who finds the first right answer gets a prize.

Idea: Temporary “friend list” swapping on Facebook.

Imagine you have an opportunity to find yourself surrounded by complete strangers and see how they interact, their interests… and maybe if you like someone you can invite them into your own circle of friends!

i.e. You have 150 friends. For 1 day your list can be swapped for 150 random strangers. If you have only 30 friends, you get 30 strangers.

This idea probably needs to be done with cooperation of Facebook, which is most likely because this project promotes more connectivity within the social network.

Idea: Audio-Visual Lie Detector widget

This application can detect subtle changes in voice and speech delivery pattern.
Also it can track the eye and body movement of the speaker.
All the data is processed and shows a high probability result if the person is telling the truth or not.
