As the planet earth is facing an increase of extreme global weather and seismological activity the style and principle of conventional architecture will have to change too. Here's a concept for a future building designed to withstand extreme weather conditions - Collapsible mushroom style houses:
In the event of a dangerous event (tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunami, meteorite showers, etc.) the houses would be able to slide down into underground shaft protected by hermetically sealed cap on the top. The cap would contain solar powered batteries protected by a transparent thick layer of the strongest material available.
