It's been proven scientifically that molecular structure of water can be influenced by the power of thought.
Why not produce a special brand of drinking water, for example called 'H2OLY', the properties of which can be directly programmed by the user?
The name is displayed on the label in the middle of the sacred geometric symbol called 'the seed of life':
To activate the 'programming' the user has to scratch off the label to reveal the code (mantra, prayer, etc.), for example:
Scratching off the silver film and reading the code loud is itself an act of magickal participation that would activate the program and charge the water with psycho-chemical properties beneficial for each individual (thirsty) person.
p.s. If I was the Pope, I would be giving away these h2oly water bottles in a true christian caring tradition - for free!

The Age of Total Frankness might be next.
I believe it's very possible that during the major universal alignment, coming on 21 December 2012, the critical process of human DNA change will be triggered by powerful cosmic radiation reflected by the sun. The human species would suddenly acquire a psychic boost and be forced to live in the new brave world of total brutal frankness.
Social and Environmental impacts of mass telepathy.
Manly P. Hall on the next step of evolution of human consciousness:
"If a man acquires a full ESP:
He no longer will be able to keep a secret.
Nothing would happen without everyone knowing the facts of the matter.
All promotion, all publicity, all propaganda will lose influence.
An individual can not and will not be deceived.
He cannot be exploited.
He cannot in any way be prevented from knowing the truth about how other people feel about him.
Nor can he prevent other people from knowing how he feels about them."
Manly P. Hall
We already know and can see how the extension of a single sensory perception can completely overwhelm the whole pattern of modern society, forcing it into entirely different direction!
With full ESP awakened in every single individual the world would not need lawyers, advertisers, bankers, insurance agents, police, army, salesmen and psychiatrists!

Mystic Arts, painting
Painted on hardboard, 1 coating is white (represents spiritual reality), 2 layer - black (represents physical reality). The sacred forms have been etched with a nail (embedded physical energy to empower the lines), the grooves filled with golden dust.
3 (spirit: triangle) + 4 (matter: square) + 5 (man's consciousness: pentagram) + 6 (god's consciousness: hexagram) = 18 = 9 = god

Advertising and creating fake news.
I reckon as more consumers build mental firewalls against obvious advertising (classical formats), the future will tilt more towards less obvious ads like the one above, masquerading as a piece of news:

Idea: supermarket to adopt Like tagging in the store
Wouldn't it be great if supermarket customers could LikeTag their favourite products LIVE using their personal supermarket customer cards?
and why not also set up the supermarket's Facebook page where visitors can LikeTag the products online with immediate live updates offline - in the store?

'fake' advertising in the future
Modern advertising has a serious ethical problem:
It artificially creates demand for things that people don't really need. Increasingly so it also perpetuates unsustainable growth.
Here's a simple comparison of what is and will be.
OLD MODEL:
we make a product first and then try artificially create maximum market demand for it (through advertising)
result: unsustainable overproduction
NEW MODEL:
we advertise the concepts of future products first (or try to create maximum market demand for it) and only later, if there's enough positive response for it, we move into production process.
result: sustainable economy
So the difference is in the order of continuity.
This also implies that a creative agency will be spending most of its resources on creating new product concepts and 'fake' ads.

Future of marketing
A thought has a mass that can be measured. In the future people’s thoughts can be detected and quantified by special sensors that would be embedded in the objects of observation, i.e. a billboard, video screen, etc. The length of the visual contact between the observer and the observed object will reveal the degree of interest and the nature of the observer’s response.

On mushrooms
As a tree grows old it accumulates fungus. Fungus controls deterioration of the tree’s tissue. It is possible to imagine that fungus is a program that is written by non humans (fungus comes from space with cosmic dust). Human body also carries fungus that controls metabolism and aging process. The key to prolonging human life is the fungus. Sooner or later we have to realize it. Now, how does earth fungus get cosmic program updates? Through cosmic radiation. Today we have dramatic increase of electromagnetic radiation coming from the sun (sun spots). But also all other planets in our galaxy get more radio active. Our bodily fungus is a transmitter/receiver of cosmic radiation that hacks into our DNA and re-edits the code. There is evidence to suggest that fungus has been a catalyst of ape to human consciousness. We can also assume that the ongoing cosmic processes directly relates to our emotional states of being.

Mother shows she cares in a refreshing way
A few years back I suggested my former boss an idea to send our agency team with humanitarian help to Palestine. The plan was to arrive on trucks loaded with humanitarian kits donated by the agency clients and the agency itself.
He seemed to like the idea but wasn't quite convinced that this is a thing for an ad agency to do.
But attitudes change. Mother just has set up an example of an ad agency getting directly involved in social issues by sending its agency team to South Africa... to help communities to build a permanent football pitch, a community center and a day-care center, as well as funding school meals and setting up a program with Dell to provide computers for schools. Great move. More here.

On the future of brand slogans
Todays in Advertising Age article Amsterdam Abandons the 30-Second Spot and Why Long-Form Ads Are the Wave of the Future they write about downfall of expensive tv commercials vs online inexpensive films.
When I read that I remembered a post I published awhile ago where I also speculated about the future destiny of classical tv ads. Not so much in terms of "expensive short vs inexpensive long" but from my point of view that in the future ads will look more like movie trailers offering deeper interactive experiences ... with clever product placements... and free of any direct selling propositions or any self-congratulatory messages.
I bet that 5 to 7 years from now on the majority of all tv or video ads will be like mini-movies with an exciting (hopefully) story and a product placement.
So the creative challenge will be less about crafting a commercial message and more about inventing an engaging and memorable experience that can be traced back to a brand.
and btw, i am almost sure no one will be making ads like this.

A viral documentary featuring most famous magicians from all over the world trying to make the wall of Gaza to disappear.
The video would show pagan priests, amazonian shamans, indian gurus, etc. performing their native rituals, spells and magickal ceremonies to help solving the problem where diplomacy failed.
maybe even a movie where Harry tackles the real life evils?

On popular culture and mental diet
“Observation of an action automatically triggers simulation of that action (in the mind of the observer)… Premotor cortical neurons fire during goal directed actions as well as during observation of similar actions.” Dr. Bruce Lipton, Biology of Perception.
Dr. Lipton is a leading human DNA expert who proves that perception creates reality, and not the other way around as conventional knowledge holds.
If observation of an act leads to internal simulation of it, wouldn’t it be fair to say that 45% of western populace (market share of violent movies) enjoy to abuse or to be abused at least in their minds? If people enjoy watching horror movies, what does it tell about their level of consciousness? Are they emotionally retarded? Are they in need to stimulate their emotionally starved and insipid lives? Why do they voluntarily take pleasure in watching suffering and pain? Are they evil, sick or just dim?
My point is this: many millions of people in the west every day voluntarily tune in to watch other people dying! Mainstream culture makes killing other people look frequent, natural and easy. Oversaturation of death entertainment reduces the sacredness of life to triviality and makes violence as mundane as yogurt.
Terrence McKenna once famously said: “culture is not your friend”. And mainstream culture it seems is only a friend for mentally and emotionally retarded. Why so? Because it is shallow, uninspiring and vain. Here some popular examples:
Eurosong contests (low common denomination type of music), soap (for mentally, emotionally unchallenged), celebs (for audiences with low self worth), big brother and american idol types (for want-to-be-celebs), horror movies (for emotionally starved), fashion (vanity rules), etc.
From this list one can conclude that mainstream culture is not only a breeding nest for mediocrity but also is a miss for human values like compassion, empathy and unselfish love.
Popular culture seems to be similar to junk food. Most of us know about the benefits of food diet and fewer about the importance of mental diet. Which means: Junk culture has an effect on our mind similar to the effect of junk food on our body.

Playing God with ants
is a book that i will or will not write.
There is an old hermetic axiom: as above, so below. This made me assume our reality as a fractal of a bigger (incomprehensible) world... and this in turn made me think that we people must be subjects to a higher levels of intelligence (Gods)... and this made me imagine how lower consciousness life forms must be "looking up" to us humans - we must be gods for them!
Now here's another twinkle of a thought: if everything is a fractal of an infinite cosmic progression it would be fair to suppose that the way we, as gods, treat our low consciousness brothers (like ants for example) is intimately linked to the way our gods (superior brothers) treat us. As above, so below.
On a practical side, the book might be about how to develop a magickal way of seeing reality to gain more control over (increasingly chaotic) everyday life. That implies chucking away old conventional wisdom we were taught by our outdated educational system and upgrading for the new ones, i.e:
Believing is seeing and not the other way around as we've been programmed.
The truth is a process and not a fixed state (it has expiration dates like memes).
Subjective reality dictates objective reality.
Brain is a hardware, mind is a code that gets regularly re-written by forces of nature.
We can befriend viruses (change agents of life) to gain more control of the desired outcome.
Influencing collective mind of ants is similar to influencing collective mind of people.
In short, the book might be about right brain technology magick.

Idea: VoxBox for social media
How it works:
We let people record a sound with their mouth (just like beatboxing) via their webcams and store it on a special website... it could be a musical note (do,re,me,fa,so,la,si,do), imitation of a music instrument, a drone, whistle, unusual sound, etc.)... and then build an app that can put these sounds in certain musical style templates (dubstep, drum'n'base, hip hop, etc)... so it will be like social beatbox...
Since the sounds come with the visuals the program will also create a video rmx with actual faces making the sound... this will make a perfect viral video for youtube: facebook voxbox competition with different FaceBook friends circles competing for the best vox mix.
Here’s an example of music keyboard interface:
With all the usual sound machine special effects and controls.
Beatboxing is an increasingly popular style of making tunes with a mouth. Here’s a reference link to the current beatboxing champion Birdyman from UK (my favourite)

Idea: Write the future.
A small widget app that FBook users can install. It appears on the screen every few days, displays some random headline and asks if it’s likely to happen in the nearest future or not.
Second option offers to write your own headline and set the time when it’s likely to happen.
Bild-future-headlines.de would display statistical data of people votes as well as the entire archive with user generated headlines.
Users also have an option to vote for the most popular future headline.
Bild Newspaper would offer a reward, for example a bit of cash, to anyone who correctly predicts the future or picks the right headline.
Headlines can also be posted via Twitter.

The problem with advertising...
... is that old tricks of the trade ain't working anymore!
here's an example that immediately causes a skeptical reaction:
In psychology this old trick is called " deliberate projection of personal need as fact" which means it's a sure sign of lacking thereof.
Why would a brand pay an ad agency to say that it is number one?
Because it is obviously not a number one yet!
obviously nobody knows about it or nobody cares about it.
and by the way, wouldn't it to be more trustworthy for somebody else to say this?
Apparently not every brand (or ad agency) realizes that people are increasingly capable of deconstructing their "old school" selling propositions and "self congratulatory" ads like this only create a wall of skepticism.

Idea: New Polaroid camera can capture human soul
Polaroid was once very cool. Now, with the advent of digital instant gratification photography it is nothing special.
Here's an idea how to make a comeback:
Design a personal camera that can also capture the images of human soul.
How?
To use an existing technology of Kirilan and Aura photography. At the moment there are some cameras built for this purpose, but they are mainly produced for hospitals and their design is rather industrial and bulky.
I believe it's time for Polaroid to surprise the photography market again and be the first to bring this technology to a mass market in a slick design and affordable price.

A fresh angle for a new sci-fi movie?
Would love to see a sci-fi movie that explores this scenario of human evolution and with the following tag line:
instead of the usual "dominate or die" direction of thinking, that is.
It would be interesting to see a world without any power structures, controlling institutions or religions. Utopia? Not necessarily. If you combine a climate catastrophe, a new electromagnetic radiation from cosmos that changes human DNA and some help from friendly aliens - we'd be there sooner rather than later.

Idea: Axe side effects
I am bored to see ads flogging generic sex appeal i.e. men's products like Braun shavers, deodorants, etc. - all promising hordes of good looking women filling lives (most probably pathetic) of single males. They all focus on looks rather than character of women.
As an alternative for more discerning males why not develop a strategy that focuses more on the quality (as opposed to quantity) of the attraction?
examples with mythical archetypes:

Idea: All-in-one-world-news.com
The problem with the news is political bias. To get a more or less objective picture of what is really happening in the world one must watch at least more than one news channel.
Why not set up online news portal that would syndicate all major news channels in one place, i.e. called all-in-one-world-news.com?
for example, if there is an important world news, we get to see more than one point of view of the event ( side-by-side) and therefore can form an unbiased (objective) evaluation of what's happening in the world.
another advantage: it would help to easily distinguish individual political and economical interests these news channels propagate.

Sprinting in water is at least twice as hard than sprinting on the ground. Standard swimming pools can be used with runners competing in them next to each other, i.e. running 60 m (2 laps) or even 600 m (12 laps).

Idea: Thai National Reconciliation Tee
Just returned from Bangkok. The country is divided between the poor north (red shirts) and bourgeois south (yellow shirts). The stand off is longer then 7 weeks.
http://www.thaizer.com/politics/who-are-the-yellow-shirts-and-red-shirts/
It would be cool if tourists, in support for Thai national reconciliation, start wearing red-yello t-shirts!

Idea: Ask.com iPhone app
Ask.com develops mobile app that allows users to ask questions speaking directly into microphone and receive vocal answers (from Jeeves).
The app would convert audio questions into text, send the query online, the best text results would be converted back to voice spoken by animated Jeeves figure.
The convenience of this idea was inspired when I was lying on a beach trying to find Osiris constellation in the night sky. Sometimes it's easier to use your voice rather than typing- reading when looking for answers.
The search engine would scan wiki, blogs and other online portals to find the best possible answer. After answering the question Jeeves would ask if the user is happy with the first answer. If not, Jeeves gives another one.
Jeeves is multilingual and is capable to learn the user's habits.
The app can also function as a mobile browser.
TV ad shows curious kids and lazy dad. He gives them his phone with Jeeves who now plays substitute dad. Other examples may include digital Jeeves playing a scientist, teacher or even a politician.
Promo: competition between 2 teams both using the app - who finds the first right answer gets a prize.

Flo White - Chemtrails
A new video of the Cleveland based musician Flo White for his song "Chemtrails". The video is highly influenced by John Carpenter's classic "They Live" in which construction worker Nada played by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper discovers a pair of sunglasses that allow him to see the world as it really is: aliens have taken over the Earth and people are being bombarded by media and government with subliminal messages like "OBEY", "MARRY AND REPRODUCE" and "STAY ASLEEP". The video also features my favorite truth seeker Freeman of The Freeman Perspective (he's that long haired guy with the white shirt).

Rant: Why bother to pay for news?
i am subscribed to creativity online free (not spam free!) newsletter. they send me headlines of the news and if i want to read more, i click on the link that takes me to creativity online page... where i am greeted with a message that tells me that i have to pay to proceed further!
i.e. today in their newsletter they mentioned about a new mob app called Starling but wouldnt let me read about it on their page.
so i googled Starling and got tons of info on it: reviews, pics, videos, etc.
(in fact, i have to do this routine all the time!)
my point is:
Why bother with all this subscription paywall at all when it drives its potential readers to other (often better!) sources?
ok, i understand it might work with some sort of exclusive or special content ... but news in general can't be exclusive! And Creativity Online is just all about general news from ad and marketing industry and very little else. anything they report can be easily obtained for free elsewhere online.
... and then all these "only members can leave comments or rate" signs... that alone is so daft!
which brings me to a conclusion:
In the future the news would pay us to read their news!

A Case For Better Ideas and Less Worry About Executions
original article from Creativity online

my original comment (in case creativity decides not to publish it):

my original comment (in case creativity decides not to publish it):
a case for better ideas and fretting less over the executions would do a better job in keeping up with the zeitgeist
which is more about the content and less about the looks, i.e. the message makes the medium viral and not the other way round.
To argue for "fewer ideas" might sell the book to accountants, but i seriously doubt that putting a lid on creativity would make advertising more exciting!
p.s. its ok to have lots half-baked ideas. the more the better. it keeps creative minds sharper.
